Lighthouse Window Cleaning was founded in faith by John Shanahan in 1996.

What started as a side job to support his growing family, while working in management for Starbucks and Chipotle, is today a trusted company that provides jobs for up to twenty team members and understands the need for delivering dependable, quality service to our thousands of residential and business customers.

Whether it’s John or his team that comes to service your residence or place of business – you can count on quality, integrity, and excellent service.

Lighthouse Window Cleaning, Inc. embraces the philosophy of attracting and retaining the best team members.

We recruit locally and hire mostly from customer referrals, friends, and family because we know that it’s not just about who cleans your windows, but who you trust to open the doors of your home.

As a family business, John’s children, Andrew, Peter, Joseph, Grace, and Michaela have all been involved in the business and have worked to earn money for their education.

As summer approaches, we look for local high school seniors or college students to help us through the summer months. We offer great summer jobs for students, as well as full-time year-round employment.

We were recently recognized as a “Wonderful Workplace” nominee at the Rocklin Chamber, as well as “Certified Smile Maker” at the annual Business Excellence Awards.

Meet John Shanahan

Hi, I’m John Shanahan, founder of Lighthouse Window Cleaning, I truly enjoy being a business owner and am committed to providing the best quality window cleaning service to both our residential and commercial clients.

My favorite parts of the business are the direct contact I get to have with my clients and helping the members of my team grow and achieve success in their lives.

I live in Rocklin, CA, being part of this community for over 30 years. Along with my beautiful wife Teresa, we have been focused on raising five wonderful children in a God-centered home. Some of our children are now in college and others are attending schools in Loomis.

I am passionate about health and the outdoors. I have bicycled across America as well as hiked the John Muir Trail and enjoy running as a hobby, when time permits.
