John Shanahan is the founder and President of Lighthouse Window Cleaning, Inc., a respected window cleaning and exterior service company based in Rocklin, California. Driven by a blend of faith, family values, and commitment to quality service, John has built a business that has proudly served numerous residential and commercial clients throughout the greater Sacramento region.
 
John began his entrepreneurial journey in 1996 when he started cleaning windows as a side job to support his expanding family while working in management roles at companies like Starbucks, Chipotle, and REI, and owning a Subway franchise. What began as additional income soon developed into a passion for delivering reliable, top-notch service to his community.
In 2012, John bravely decided to pursue his long-term ambition full-time, transitioning from corporate management to focus entirely on growing Lighthouse Window Cleaning. His leadership philosophy is built on integrity, excellence, and a personal connection with each client and team member. John believes that business isn’t merely about clean windows but about building trust, creating opportunities, and aiding others in their success.
 
John resides in Rocklin with his wife, Teresa. The couple is raising five children in a faith-rooted home and is actively engaged in the community. Outside of work, John is passionate about health and the outdoors. He has bicycled across America, hiked the John Muir Trail, and indulges in running and cycling when free time permits.
